DESCRIPTION:\nThe VTS Beginner Practicum is designed to help educators—even those with no background in the arts—confidently lead effective VTS discussions. This entry-level training builds evidence-based facilitation skills through art discussions and prepares you to bring VTS into your own classroom or learning setting.\nIn a small peer group, participants will:\n\nEngage in guided image discussions with experts and peers\nPractice facilitation with individualized coaching\nExplore the research foundations of VTS and its group learning approach\nTake part in exercises, readings, and reflections\n\nFormat\n\nOnline via Zoom with slide decks, curated image sets, breakout room practice, group discussions, and Google resources\nLogin and course materials will be emailed two weeks before the start date\n\nTime & Participation\n\nAttendance at all meetings is required to complete the course\nParticipants should plan time for readings and reflections between sessions\nAll sessions are scheduled in Pacific Time—please check your time zone before registering\n\nEnrollment\n\nCourses must meet the minimum enrollment requirements in order to run\nRegistration is first come, first served\nIf the program is full, you will be added to a waitlist and may be invited to transfer to another month\n\nBy the end of the practicum, you’ll be ready to facilitate VTS discussions—and join a community of educators making conversations more inclusive, engaging, and fun.\nRegister today to reserve your spot.\nClass time: 3:00pm – 5:00pm Pacific Time (5-7pm CT / 6-8pm ET)\n\n\nMonday, November 3\nWednesday, November 5\nMonday, November 10\nWednesday, November 12\nMonday, November 17\nWednesday, November 19\n\n\nAll VTS programs are offered at the price it costs us to offer them. We want to share learning.
