The VTS Beginner Practicum is designed to help educators—even those with no background in the arts—confidently lead effective VTS discussions. This entry-level training builds evidence-based facilitation skills through art discussions and prepares you to bring VTS into your own classroom or learning setting.

In a small peer group, participants will:

• Engage in guided image discussions with experts and peers
• Practice facilitation with individualized coaching
• Explore the research foundations of VTS and its group learning approach
• Take part in exercises, readings, and reflections

Format

• Online via Zoom with slide decks, curated image sets, breakout room practice, group discussions, and Google resources
• Login and course materials will be emailed two weeks before the start date

Time & Participation

• Attendance at all meetings is required to complete the course
• Participants should plan time for readings and reflections between sessions
• All sessions are scheduled in Pacific Time—please check your time zone before registering

Enrollment

• Courses must meet the minimum enrollment requirements in order to run
• Registration is first come, first served
• If the program is full, you will be added to a waitlist and may be invited to transfer to another month
