Lei Ahsing (she/her) has over 35 years experience as an arts educator and administrator. She received a MFA in Dance at University of Hawai`i at Mānoa and began her creative career as a teaching artist in elementary schools throughout O`ahu. As the education director with the Hawai’i Arts Alliance, Lei developed, implemented, and managed arts education programs in community, school, museum, and online settings. She was introduced to VTS in 2016 as the program director for Turnaround Arts: Hawai`i. She is a firm believer that the arts engage, enliven, and create equitable opportunities in learning.
