Kabir Anderson-Singh (he/him) joined the staff of Visual Thinking Strategies in 2018 after a decade of professional experience as an arts educator and administrator in eight Los Angeles County museums, including The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Los Angeles, where he first learned VTS in 2010. As a creative nonfiction writer, Kabir is working on a collection of short nonfiction that explores queer spaces. He is the winner of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) 2022 Pacific Region Museum Education Art Educator award. Kabir holds an EdM in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Art History from Columbia University.
