Kabir Anderson-Singh (he/him) joined the staff of Visual Thinking Strategies in 2018 and contributes as Trainer, Coach, Facilitator, and Editor of Site Specific: The Journal of Visual Thinking Strategies. Kabir is an educator and writer who lives and works on unceded Tongva land in Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining VTS, he spent a decade working in various roles as an educator in eight Los Angeles County museums, including The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Los Angeles, where he first learned VTS in 2010. Kabir is also a creative nonfiction writer. He is the winner of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) 2022 Pacific Region Museum Education Art Educator award. Kabir holds an EdM in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Art History from Columbia University.
