Miho

Born and raised in Japan, Miho Oka (she/her), an educator, a teacher and a museum lover, has had a keen interest in intercultural communication since she was little.  Seeing her father communicate with people worldwide through his work, little Miho thought if she could become fluent in English, she could make friends all over the world.  This exciting idea led Miho to study Applied Linguistics and TESOL both in Japan and in the U.S. during which she became obsessed with bilingualism, especially how our brain functioned when we operated in two languages.  Miho is also a collage artist, using leftover art supplies from her daughter and son, both of whom major in Art.
